  • Overview

    This position is responsible for system administration of the Labor Management System – NextView (LMS) as well as auditing, developing and implementing work measurement and standards for all distribution operational areas.  You will work closely with all US Distribution management and hourly Associates in development and implementation of work measurement standards and processes to all areas of the operation. 


    In this role you will tackle the daily administration and management of the LMS as well as all feeds from support systems, i.e., Oracle, ADP, QCS, LightningPick. Deliver ongoing development and refinement of reporting tools, training of all users, and system administration in conjunction with the Labor Management System.


    Supports both US DCs Irvine / Greenwood in the administration of the LMS. Administers the long term and day to day operation of the NextView LMS and all feed / support software systems.


    • Interfaces with Oracle DBAs, QCS management, ADP technical support, and NextView technical support / programmers to optimize the functionality and accuracy of the LMS.
    • Prepares and analyzes and organizes data into actionable information for management.
    • Develops and generates daily LMS reporting
    • Develops ad hoc reporting formats on behalf of DC management.
    • Analyzes and interprets daily LMS results to identify labor and/or system inefficiencies
    • Develops corrective operational actions and/or system modifications to improve efficiencies and/or correct standard operating processes to optimize staffing and efficiency.
    • Develops and sets engineered work measurement standards and expectations.
    • Communicates and explains logic and approach of standards to hourly Associates as well as management.
    • Monitors daily utilization and production data to identify individuals and areas in need of improvement or process improvement or adherence to SOPs.
    • Writes, and modifies LMS SOPs as needed
    • Interacts with Associates at all levels within the organization.
    • Responsible for analyzing, tracking and reporting production and budgetary performance to the Senior Director of Distribution and Distribution Center Managers on an ongoing basis.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems [Oracle, QCS, LightningPick]
    • Minimum of 3 years distribution operations experience working in labor management / planning, inventory management / forecasting, traffic procurement / planning.
    • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
    • Excellent written /verbal communication skills and exceptional analytical skills
    • Advanced PC skills to include Microsoft Office, Windows 2000 or Windows NT
    • Demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills that support meeting deadlines in environment of constantly changing priorities
    • Ability to work well with multiple departments and thrive within a team environment
    • Ability to work flexible work hours and successfully handle diverse work problems on a daily basis and serve as a role model for non-exempt staff.
    • Ability to travel when needed
