  • Overview

    The HRIS Analyst will lead the ongoing system support to a variety of applications used in the HR function including, but not limited to, employee/manager self-service, benefit modules, time and attendance, talent management, and performance management systems.

     

    This individual serves as the main technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as a lead resource on HRIS projects; oversees and ensures adherence to project schedules.
    • Leads the creation and maintenance of interfaces with 3rd party vendors (i.e. Eligibility files).
    • Creates and maintains custom reports for internal requests; assists in the development of complex reports.
    • Provides training within the HR department to ensure maximum and efficient use of HRIS applications; develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
    • Collaborates with other internal functional teams (Payroll, IT) to identify, plan and execute process improvement opportunities across these teams.
    • Keeps abreast of patches or upgrades for each of the HRIS modules and reviews release notes to analyze and identify any impact to processes or operations; recommends system and process enhancements; works with Manager to implement and test the patches and improvements.
    • Assists in the creation of communications and training to end users for all HRIS systems. Plays an active role in the research of new technology and HRIS systems. Assists with user acceptance testing of new system functionality or processes; analyzes data flow for process improvements.
    • Ensures HRIS system data integrity by addressing system queries/issues, testing system changes, writing reports and auditing/maintaining data across components of the HR core systems.
    • Performs quality checks of HR, payroll, and benefits related data.
    • Provide support to end users in issues related to HR core systems.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
    • Minimum of one to three years HRIS related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience., 
    • Experience with Ceridian and ADPWorkforce Now a plus!
    • A wide range of technical skills including strong knowledge of performance management systems, time and attendance and benefits administration is preferred.
    • Advanced Excel/Access experience.  Supported ADP WFN and/or other big scale HCM system.  Implementation experience is a plus.

    Required Skills

    • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and report writing
    • Strong Experience in project management
    • Ability to multi-task and proceed with a sense of urgency
    • Superior organizational skills and very detail oriented
    • Solid problem-solving skills
    • Clear and professional communication skills
    • This position has access to and knowledge of sensitive, private and confidential materials, therefore ability to maintain the highest standard is required.
