  • Overview

    The Senior Facility Manager will provide leadership, direction and support to the Facilities Department. He/she will be responsible for the direct management of the exempt and non-exempt facility staff in Irvine and Addison. In addition he/she will indirectly manage 2 Irvine and 2 Greenwood non-exempt Maintenance Mechanics. He/she will work closely with Senior Management / other internal customers to provide leadership on all facility and capital projects.  Responsibilities include the effective maintenance and improvement of interior / exterior facilities in Irvine, Addison, and Greenwood. Maintenance will be in accordance with governmental regulations and company policies and procedures.


    • Ensure staff development / training is ongoing for maintenance staff
    • Facility Maintenance
      • Maintain facilities and all infrastructure, internal and external, in pristine working condition
      • Preventative maintenance, negotiation of vendor contracts, service contracts, etc.
      • Manage MRO program for critical spares, building supplies, and other equipment as needed
      • Insure all equipment (facility, office, distribution) are maintained in a fashion to prevent breakdowns during operation
      • Insure facilities are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations including: OSHA, EPA, Ergonomics, Security, Safety/Security/Fire Codes, Evacuation plans, Electrical Codes, etc.
    • Service
      • Insure that facilities department provides responsive, positive and supportive service to all customers
      • Implement and manage effective job ticket process / system
      • Manage employee and sub-contractor access control and security
    • Security
      • Facility security process and security monitoring systems
      • Facility emergency evacuation process management, communication, and execution
    • Budget / Financial Management
      • Manage Facility Department budget
      • Cost containment measures insuring adherence to budget targets
      • Assist in developing Capital Budget to support: building project plans and updates, material handling equipment projects, energy improvements, cost reduction projects, and support for generation of CER requests.
    • Project Management:
      • Develop and coordinate major project proposals along with providing technical details required to support other departments.
      • Prepare CERs (Capital Expenditure Requests) for selected capital projects.

    Collaborate with external resources to identify and implement current trends


    Minimum of 5 to 10 years in the Facilities field and in a leadership role in a corporate environment.


    Education: BA / BS degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field preferred.


    CFM Certification highly desired.


    10-25% travel is required within the continental United States.
