Temp to Hire Accounts Payable Administration Specialist

The Accounts Payable Administration Specialist is responsible for opening and distribution of all interoffice and incoming mail received, maintaining the vendor master, and scanning all invoices that are sent out for approvals. Generate system checks and electronic payments through Oracle system. Maintain the Accounts Payable paid files accurately and in a timely manner.


  • Open, stamp and distribute incoming and interoffice mail
  • Scan all invoices and sent out for approval
  • Generates weekly checks and electronics payments for all invoices that have been generated by Accounts Payable processors.
  • Match check copies with the appropriate documentation, invoices, and check requests
  • Assigns new supplier numbers and update supplier information with any changes
  • Maintain the Accounts Payable paid files


Education – High school graduate or GED 

Experience – Minimum of 1 year of General Office experience in a high volume and large company environment.   Have the ability to understand the flow of Accounts Payable data from the original source document to the final output.  Have the basic skills in Excel and Word.


Language Skills:  Requires written and verbal communication skills.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
